Obituary

Thajuana Dell Farmer was born in Marianna, AR on February 8, 1974, to Mr. Willie L. and Mrs. Ruby L. Farmer. She grew up in the Walnut Grove M.B. Church where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. As a child, Thajuana enjoyed singing in the Walnut Grove M.B. Church youth choir. Thajuana was educated in the Lee County school District. In 1992, she graduated from Lee Senior High School. Upon graduation, Thajuana enrolled in Arkansas State University (ASU) in Jonesboro, AR. She eventually left ASU and enrolled in East Arkansas Community College (EACC) where she received her professional certification in cosmetology.

In 1998 she became a mother to her firstborn son Trevin T. Lewis. In 2001 she gave birth to her second son Dallas L. Nash. In 2006, upon the sudden passing of her husband Michael Nash, Thajuana became a single mother of two sons. She diligently and faithfully raised her two sons in a Christian home while stressing the importance of education. Over the years Thajuana was a faithful Christian, loving mother, caring daughter, nurturing sister, and dear friend to many.

Professionally, Thajuana worked in the health care industry as a food service technician. Throughout life, Thajuana persevered to overcome many challenges. In 2015 she would face one of her most formidable foes when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. For nearly nine years Thajuana quietly battled this dreadful disease. She rarely complained, continued to love on her family and faithfully trusted in her Lord & Savior while cancer invaded her entire body. God showed favor to Thajuana and allowed her to enjoy her 50th birthday celebration with family and friends in February 2024. After surgeries, radiation treatments and countless rounds of chemotherapy, Thajuana became physically exhausted from her battles. God showed her mercy and on May 20, 2024, He quietly called her home to be at rest. Thajuana was proceeded in death by her husband Michael Nash, and her father Willie Farmer. Left to cherish her memories are her two sons Trevin Lewis and Dallas Nash. Her grandsons Karter Lewis, and Karsyn Lewis. Her precious mother Ruby Farmer, six siblings, four sisters-in-law, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
