Sister Shirley Ann Brown was born January 18, 1962 in Marianna, AR to the late Mr. John Ernest Brown and Ruby Lee Brown.

Shirley accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age.  She was employed as a cosmetologist for over 40 years. She had a passion for hair, clothes and spending time with her loved ones.

Shirley was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She truly was the life of every room she entered. She was a blessing and helped everyone she knew.

Shirley was the mother of two children. Shirley departed this earthly life on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Medical Center in Little Rock, AR.

Shirley was preceded in death by her father, John Ernest Brown; her brother, Ernest Brown and her great grandson, Essex Amir Broadnax.

Her family will always and forever cherish the memories she leaves; her children, Lakita (Keith) Houston of Fayetteville, AR and Robert Barber, Jr. of Marianna, AR; her mother, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nephews, nieces, cousins, other loving relatives and a multitude of friends.
