Rafie was preceded in death by his mother, Murline Cheers; his father, Rafie Cheers, Sr.; two sisters, Merlene Cheers and Christine Cheers and his girlfriend, Beatrice Rodriguez.

Rafie leaves to cherish two brothers, Homer (Francis) Cheers and Bobby Cheers; three sisters, Verna Johnson, Deloris Sander and Sarah Reyes.
