Maurice Lambert, Sr. was born in Marianna, Arkansas on January 8, 1970. He was the beloved son of the late Marie Lambert and the late Leon Clinkscale. He was a 1988 graduate of Lee Senior High School.

Big Mo, as he was called by most people, was a beacon of light and love to those that knew him. Maurice was an avid sports fan and enjoyed coaching little league teams throughout the city. He expressed an unwavering faith in God at an early age that continued throughout his life.

His transition from this earthly life has left a tremendous void in the hearts of his family, friends and many other lives that were touched by his kind gentle spirit.

Maurice was preceded in death by his parents, Marie Lambert and Leon Clinkscale; four sisters, Joann Breathett (Douglas), Barbara Doyle (Lawson), Stephanie Breathett and Latoya Breathett (Carlton); and two brothers, Terry Lambert and Gerald Lambert.

Maurice's marathon continues with his two sons, Maurice Lambert, Jr. and Terrence Lambert and one grandson, Maurice Lambert, III. Others left to cherish his memory are one sister, Wanda Hobbs, one brother, James Lambert; a special friend, Penny Pace; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
