Mrs. Lena Mae Trice was born on April 22, 1944, to the late Wesley and Lela
Clemmons in Brickeys, AR. She was the first child of 15 children.
She professed her faith in Christ at an early age at Cornerstone House of the Born of
God at 106 South Carolina Street in Marianna, AR under the leadership of Pastor
Eddie King.
She was pulled out of the 7th grade to help take care of her other siblings.
Our Mom, Lena, decided to move to Seattle, WA in the early 2000's to be cared for by
her oldest, Carol Hamilton, shortly after her diagnosis with Parkinson. Recently in 2022
she moved back to Arkansas to be closer to family where she ultimately passed away
surrounded by family.
Our Mom, Lena, enjoyed cooking, baking and being around her family. She especially
loved all the children and could often be heard calling for them so she could embrace
them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Trice; her parents, Lela and
Wesley Clemmons; five sisters, Latrecia Nelson, Dorothy Clemmons, Mamie Daniels,
Ella Jean Hood and Ruby Beasley; four brothers, John Clemmons, Joe Clemmons,
