Jimmy Lee Stone was born to Jessie Lee Stone and Doris Stone Byars on October 5, 1969. Jimmy was called to rest on August 29, 2023.

Jimmy confessed hope in Christ at the Mt. Perion M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. E.D. Mix.

Jimmy graduated from Lee High School in 1989. He attended Phillips County Community College until he was no longer able to go. His favorite sport was football, and he could run.

Jimmy was a very compassionate person with a great big heart. He loved to work and help people, especially those in the neighborhood.

Preceding him in death were his father, Jessie Lee Stone; brother, Jessie A. Farris; grandparents, Pete and Wagie Farris and Charlie and Beatrice Stone; one nephew, Andrew Stone; aunt, Peggy Barnes; three uncles, Charles, Donald and Bobby all of Detroit, MI.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories, two children, Jimel Long and Jimica Long; five grandchildren, Aniya Holmes, Nigel Armstrong, Kennedi Lewellen, Jemeila Long and Jezhyiah Long; his mother, Doris Byars; one brother, Darnell (Tekisha) Stone; four sisters, Diane Stone of Arlington, TX, Lisa Byars of Marianna, AR, Shelia Byars of Texas and Norvellia (Alfred) Woodson of Marianna, AR.
