James Armstrong was born on February 13, 1961 to the late Carolina (Carrie)
Armstrong Johnican. James was the youngest of his four siblings.
James confessed a hope in Christ at an early age. He transitioned from this early life
on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at his home.
James had a charismatic charm with anyone he came in contact with. He enjoyed his
life, basketball and his cars. James was truly the life of any party and will truly be
missed.
James was preceded in death by his mother, Carolina (Carrie) Armstrong Johnican.
He leaves to cherish his memory his four children, Lakita (Keith) Houston, Johnny
(Ashley) Taylor, Erica Perez and Jeremy Wilson; two brothers, Tommy Green, Sr. and
Elbert Armstrong; two sisters, Marie (Ervin) Tarver and Ivory Jean Bradford; grandchildren,great grandchildren, his special lady, Debye Perkins and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, a multitude of friends, family and his caretakers.
