Henry Jr's Journey
Henry Carlock Jr, was born to Bethena Williams Carlock and Henry Carlock Sr on February 3 rd 1964. The eldest of 7 children and the first Grandchild of the family.
Henry Jr, also known as "Red" for his reddish complexion and unique "Red" hair, was always curious and adventurous. As a child growing up in the sixties and seventies, he experienced the crossover from the family's sharecropping involvement to the modern industrialization age. Henry could always be seen working with his Grand Parents as an extension of his Mother's Generation. In this case it was "Like Mother Like Son". Work was never foreign or unsettling for Jr., but it was always difficult and expected for the eldest child.
Henry Jr graduated from Lee Senior High School in 1982 and attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff for one year prior to journeying to St Louis Mo. In 1983. Jr spent 30 years in St Louis working for Mark Andy Inc. in the Flexographic and Digital Printing industry. After which he moved back to Arkansas, where he worked for The Springs prior to his death.
Henry Jr will always be remembered for his laughter and joking behavior. At his very best, you were always left with a smile when he was around. Henry was preceded in death by one Brother (Tony). He leaves to cherish his memory, his Mother, Bethena Williams of Marianna, his Father, Henry Carlock Sr of Marianna. Two daughters Latrice (Eric) of Allen Tx, and Toni Carlock of Jefferson Ar. Two Sons Kendric Carlock of Kansas City Mo and Korey Carlock of Springfield Mo. 3 Grandchildren, Jordan, Ian and Jackson, 2 Sisters, Tonya Clark (Jessie) of Little Rock AR and Tracey Carlock of Little Rock AR, 3 Brothers, Kenneth Carlock of Marianna AR, Derrick Carlock of Dumas AR, Maurice Carlock of Little Rock AR and a host of loving Nieces, Nephews, Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.
