Darrell Bernard
Humbert
May 24, 1969 — Jun 9, 2026
Norcross
Darrell Humbert was born in Marianna, Arkansas, to the late Gladys and Houston. From an early age, he developed a passion for football and athletics, enjoying sports and the camaraderie they brought throughout his life.
A proud servant of his country, Darrell answered the call to duty by serving in both the United States Army and the United States Marine Corps during his younger years. His commitment to service continued long after his military career, as he dedicated himself to protecting and serving others as a police officer with Georgia State University.
Darrell was known for his strength, dedication, and unwavering sense of duty. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he cherished his role as a father and family man. He leaves behind two beloved sons, Donovan and Darrell Jr., who will continue to honor his legacy.
He is also survived by his loving siblings: Carla, Kesha, Monica, Cynthia, Alexis, and Dwellon, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever treasure his memory.
Darrell is preceded in death by Mother Gladys Humbert, sister Lisa Humbert.
Darrell's life was marked by service, perseverance, and love for family. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
May he rest in eternal peace.
"Well done, good and faithful servant."
